A wonderful place to stay! It's really close to the main resort (we had a car so we just drove) which has a fun Waterpark (great for kids) , ice rink, restaurants, etc. They're also going to open rock climbing walls in December. It's less crowded and a bit cheaper than the main resort which is nice. Also our overall price for staying here was actually really affordable for a hotel with this many nice amenities. If you're looking to ski for thanksgiving like my friends and me though DO NOT come here. They only had black diamonds open which are pretty steep and advanced. Also be careful and don't ask the desk worker to scrape the ice off your car because he took out a pocket knife and scratched our side mirrors. Long story.

The hotel itself is wonderful. We were there in the summer off season so the on site restaurant wasn't open during the week, but the room we had (a double queen) had a fridge and microwave (and mini coffee maker with coffee sugar and creamer) so we bought some food from the little grocery nearby.

I recently attended a Christmas party and it was the worst experience ever. The International Room has horrible acoustics and it was so loud my head was ringing. The food was eh, a BBQ buffet which was basically room temperature and tasteless. Drinks were $9 for a one shot drink in a baby plastic cup loaded with ice. The bartender was HORRIBLE; never cracked a smile or spoke with anyone he served other than to be rude. If you are in the service industry you should be nicer and Jay Peak should know who they are hiring and how they treat their customers. I don't plan to visit again....

So, if you've never driven around Jay Peak's resort area expect to get a bit confused at first - it's huge! But despite that there is major construction in front of this resort expected to be done late Nov.2017 we had no problems. The construction was neither loud nor messy.

The beds are comfortable, lots of pillows, and the rooms are super clean. Cleaning service is every 2 days but amenities can be requested if needed like extra shampoo or towels. The room power runs off a keycard, so if you really want your room to stay hot/cold for your return request an extra card to leave in the room when you're out.

The hotel was not crowded while we were there so it was quiet. Wifi was good. The views are spectacular.

It's a great place to spend a weekend

The staff is super friendly and are happy to direct you with a map of the resort area.

Hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and service is top notch.

There is also a shuttle to bring you from one location to another if you don't want to drive.
